Our Colorado hunting, outfitting and guide service can provide you, the big game hunter, with both bow and rifle hunts, but we specialize in outfitting do-it-yourself non-guided trespass fee big game hunts and drop camps on private Northwest Colorado ranches. Our non-guided Colorado trespass fee hunts are a fraction of the cost of a fully guided hunt. |

Soap Mesa Outfitters offers quality guided elk and mule deer hunts during 1st thru 4th rifle seasons on our spectacular 3500 acre property overlooking Blue Mesa Reservoir, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Soap Creek and the Gunnison National Forest. In addition to the 3500 acres of private ground, we adjoin the West Elk National Forest and extend our hunts to an additional 6000 acres with a National Forest Permit. The hunting is very private, with only one other land owner having vehicular access to the private ground and National Forest on Soap Mesa. |

The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, known as the "crown jewel" of our nation's wilderness system consists of three contiguous wilderness areas, the Bob Marshall, the Lincoln Scapegoat and the Great Bear. Together they total 1.5 million acres. During the course of a summer season, Rick travels throughout this vast area on roving wilderness excursions. Trips are a combination of high country scenery and fly fishing in some of Montana's finest "blue ribbon" trout streams. |
